The Art of Saving Children from Violence

Most of us do not want to admit that we know someone, a woman, a child, or a man, suffering from domestic violence or the slave trade. The sad thing, like children on the playground, we don"t have to think hard to come up with a person"s name that likes to fight and fuss.  When a beat down happens to someone, like children, many people pock fun, laugh, mock, and take domestic violence so lightly that it is like a joke. Like children, many victims feel helpless and do not know what to do to resolve such a big problem.  For this reason, I believe that we are all children to be saved from the brutality of domestic violence and we must seek solutions in ways similar to cancer survivors and AIDS victims.  Art can bring the people together.

A Collectors Buying Process

I know, some people just don"t get art exhibition.  However, it began for me when I understood that access to some art, at one time, was deemed only for a priviledged few. My ancestors were restricted from creating some art. Like my ancestors, for me, art explodes everywhere.  It is on our skin as tattoos, our hair in different forms, and our clothes dictating bling and swag. Most importantly, art is on the biggest canvas in the world, the computer screen. Through art, we tell our stories.

Many people think buying art is different than buying a car or stocks but in many ways, they are the same. Let us say you finance a car (on the lot or through a bank), and then you drive off.
